Companion Animal Care Corner

C.L. Galka, DVM, Holistic Medicine/Nutrition
Companion Animal Care Center

Greetings from the Companion Animal Care Corner. My name is Carol Galka, and I have been a practicing veterinarian since 1978. After running a full service hospital for 15 years, I chose to limit my practice exclusively to several aspects of holistic medicine. My special areas of interest are nutrition, neutraceutical and orthomolecular supplements, flower essences, and western herbs and acupuncture. I also have an interest in the practice of homotoxicology. This is a therapy using combination homeopathic remedies. For more info on this wonderful alternative, check out www.heelUSA.com.

At the core of all healing and/or wellness is a quality diet and limiting your companion animals exposure to vaccines. The following information addresses these two main foundations of health and well being.  Without understanding proper diet needs, and the dire consequences of over vaccinating, it is almost impossible to help your beloved animals if illness occurs. All the various holistic modalities including acupuncture, chiropractic, Chinese medicine, and the above listed modalities that I specialize in can only benefit your animal if the right diet and vaccine schedules are used by you in your animals most basic preventive health care.

My hope is that the content of this website will enlighten you to important truths that will result in greater wellness, vitality, and longevity for our 4 footed family members.

With Warmest Regards, and wishing all of you and your animals wellness physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Sincerely,  Dr. Carol

This site is dedicated to my beloved Fredman, whose absence is like the sky, spread over everything.  Fredman, you graced my life with your presence. Thank you for every moment we shared. Until I can journey to where you now are, You are just one breath away. I hold you in my heart until we are together once more when I will hold you in my arms never to be parted again.
